Tools required to install floating hardwood floor are:

Carpenter Crayon:

You have to cut your panels to make them fit in the corners and make them go around objects that can not be removed from the room when hardwood floors installed. You may also want to use your carpenter crayon to mark the layout pattern on which you like to place your floor panel.

Knife Cutter:

The knife cutter is useful in more places than you expect when you are working on your floor. The main reason we recommend this tool is that you can make a small cut at the end of the panel when you just can not quite make them fit together.

Glue:

The floating wood floor should not have been glued together. However, you may find you get better results if you just put a little glue on the end of each panel as you connect them. Of course, this will mean you have to be very careful not to get glue on the surface of your floor.

Nail:

You'll need to nail a floating floor to strip the walls. It may help to use a drill to make a pilot hole to prevent the wood from splitting.
